Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights

Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) encompass a broad range of interconnected and interdependent aspects that contribute to individuals’ overall well-being and autonomy in matters related to their sexual and reproductive health. Below is a table outlining internationally recognized aspects of SRHR and those pertinent to the Ugandan context, considering norms, cultures, trends, policies, and statistics as the aim is to ensure inclusivity in the data.

Important to note are also aspects covered in the ‘Izuba Guide,’ an SRHR training manual developed and published earlier this year by Femme Forte Uganda in collaboration with individual feminists, including one of the researchers on this project; Lisa Charity Nabuchabo.
